New York Yankees outfielder Joey Gallo is not in the starting lineup on Tuesday against left-hander Jose Quintana and the Pittsburgh Pirates.
The Yankees are holding the lefty-hitting Gallo out against the Pirates' southpaw. Giancarlo Stanton is replacing Gallo in right field while Gleyber Torres serves as the designated hitter and hits fifth. DJ LeMahieu is back in the lineup to start on second base and bat leadoff. Anthony Rizzo is batting third and Stanton is in the cleanup spot.
