The Washington Nationals did not include Keibert Ruiz in their lineup for Monday's game against the Miami Marlins.
Ruiz will take Monday morning off while Tres Barrera starts behind home plate and bats eighth against the Marlins.
Ruiz has made 248 plate appearances so far this season and is batting .254 with a .677 OPS. He has hit 3 home runs with 20 runs, 19 RBI, and 3 stolen bases.
