Rangers' Meibrys Viloria sitting Friday
Texas Rangers catcher Meibrys Viloria is not in the starting lineup for Friday's series opener against left-hander David Peterson and the New York Mets.
Jonah Heim is returning to catching duties in place of Viloria and hitting cleanup. Adolis Garcia is batting third and Marcus Semien is in the leadoff spot while Josh Smith rounds out the bottom of the order.
numberFire’s models project Heim for 9.8 FanDuel points on Friday, and he has a $2,600 salary. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Rangers' implied total (3.85) is 22nd in the majors on Friday.
