Brett Phillips on Rays' bench again Thursday
Tampa Bay Rays outfielder Brett Phillips is not in the starting lineup for Thursday's series opener against left-hander Yusei Kikuchi and the Toronto Blue Jays.
The lefty-hitting Phillips is being held out against a southpaw for a second straight game. Randy Arozarena, Josh Lowe, and Vidal Brujan are starting across the Rays' outfield Thursday.
numberFire’s models project Arozarena for 11.6 FanDuel points on Thursday, and he has a $2,900 salary. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Rays’ implied total (4.45) is seventh out of 16 active teams. Kikuchi has the highest walk rate this season (13.5%) out of Thursday's listed starters.
