Gleyber Torres (wrist/ankle) back for Yankees Wednesday afternoon
New York Yankees infielder Gleyber Torres (wrist/ankle) is in the starting lineup for Wednesday afternoon's series finale against left-hander Cole Irvin and the Oakland Athletics.
Torres exited Sunday's game with an ankle sprain and sat out the last two contests with a wrist issue, but he's good to go for Wednesday's matinee. Torres is starting on second base and batting fifth. DJ LeMahieu is starting on first base in place of a resting Anthony Rizzo.
numberFire’s models project Torres for 10.4 FanDuel points on Wednesday, and he has a $3,000 salary. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Yankees’ implied total (5.24) is second-highest in the majors on Wednesday.
