Sean Murphy sitting for Athletics' Wednesday matinee
Oakland Athletics catcher Sean Murphy is not in the starting lineup for Wednesday afternoon's series finale against right-hander Jameson Taillon and the New York Yankees.
Murphy is moving to the bench after starting the first two games of the series. Stephen Vogt is replacing Murphy at catcher and batting cleanup.
numberFire’s models project Vogt for 7.4 FanDuel points on Wednesday, and he has a $2,000 salary. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Athletics’ implied total (3.26) is lowest in the majors on Wednesday.
