Josh Lowe joining Rays' bench Wednesday afternoon
Tampa Bay Rays outfielder Josh Lowe is not in the starting lineup on Wednesday afternoon against left-hander Eric Lauer and the Milwaukee Brewers.
Lowe is taking a seat after starting seven straight games since being recalled from Triple-A Durham. Harold Ramirez is replacing Lowe in right field and hitting fifth. Wander Franco is working as the Rays' designated hitter.
numberFire’s models project Ramirez for 9.0 FanDuel points on Wednesday, and he has a $2,300 salary. Franco is also projected for 9.0 FanDuel points and he has a $3,000 salary. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Rays’ implied total (3.94) is 22nd in the majors on Wednesday and the over/under (7.5) is tied for lowest on the board.
