Gio Urshela grabbing seat Tuesday afternoon for Twins
Minnesota Twins infielder Gio Urshela is not in the starting lineup against right-hander Zach Plesac and the Cleveland Guardians in Game 1 of Tuesday's doubleheader.
Urshela went 3-for-5 with two doubles, two RBI, and two runs in Monday's series opener, but he's grabbing a seat for the first leg of Tuesday's twin bill. Jose Miranda is replacing Urshela on the hot corner and hitting eighth. Urshela figures to be back in the lineup for Game 2.
Miranda has a $5,500 salary on Tuesday's single-game slate for the matinee and numberFire’s models project him for 8.9 FanDuel points. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Twins' implied total is 4.25 and the over/under for the game is 8.5.
