Jeff McNeil (hamstring) absent from lineup again Wednesday
New York Mets second baseman Jeff McNeil (hamstring) is not in the starting lineup again on Wednesday afternoon against right-hander Luis Garcia and the Houston Astros.
McNeil exited Monday's game early with a hamstring injury and he missed Tuesday's matchup with the Astros, but it's not clear if he will be available off the bench Wednesday afternoon. Luis Guillorme is making another start on second base and batting fifth.
numberFire’s models project Guillorme for 7.4 FanDuel points on Wednesday, and he has a $2,300 salary. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Mets’ implied total (3.74) is tied for 21st out of all 30 teams in the majors on Wednesday.
