Tigers' Shane Greene (finger) to be placed on the disabled list
Detroit Tigers pitcher Shane Greene (finger) will be placed on the disabled list, reports to MLive.com's Chris Lott.
What It Means:
Greene will apparently need a week to recover from the finger injury, which occurred in the third inning of his Monday start.
It's been a rough start to the season for Greene, whose 5.36 SIERA is well below his career average. His 1.50 nERD ranks 96th in the majors.
