Anthony DeSclafani (ankle) returning to Giants' mound Tuesday

San Francisco Giants right-handed pitcher Anthony DeSclafani (ankle) will start on Tuesday against the Atlanta Braves.

What It Means:

DeSclafani missed nearly two months due to right ankle inflammation. He only pitched 2 2/3 innings at Triple-A Sacramento in his last rehab outing, so the Giants may keep DeSclafani on a pitch count in Tuesday's return. Prior to landing on the shelf, the 32-year-old right-hander allowed nine runs in 13 1/3 innings (6.08 ERA) with 13 strikeouts and two walks across three starts.

numberFire's models project DeSclafani for 21.1 FanDuel points on Tuesday and he has an $8,100 salary on the All Day slate. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Braves currently have the fourth-highest implied total (5.03) and the park factor is the second-worst for pitchers on the board.
