New York Yankees shortstop Didi Gregorius is not in the lineup for Wednesday's showdown with the Texas Rangers.
Gregorius will take a seat against Rangers southpaw Martin Perez. No injury here, just a match-up play by manager Joe Girardi. Ronald Torreyes fills in for Gregorius and is batting ninth.
Gregorius is batting .238/.246/.365 with a .262 wOBA across 66 appearances this season. He's recorded two homers, four RBI's and a stolen base.
