Rafael Ortega resting Friday afternoon for Cubs
Chicago Cubs outfielder Rafael Ortega is not in the starting lineup for Friday afternoon's series opener against right-hander Charlie Morton and the Atlanta Braves.
Ian Happ is moving to left field and hitting cleanup while Willson Contreras starts at designated hitter. Yan Gomes is replacing Ortega in the lineup to play catcher and hit seventh.
