Tony Kemp taking seat Thursday for Oakland
Oakland Athletics left fielder/second baseman Tony Kemp is not in the starting lineup again for Thursday afternoon's series finale against right-hander Paul Blackburn and the Boston Red Sox.
The Athletics appear to be giving the lefty-hitting Kemp a routine breather against a southpaw. Jonah Bride is taking over on second base and batting eighth while Matt Davidson replaces Kemp in the lineup to play third base and bat fifth. Chad Pinder is starting in left field.
Per numberFire's MLB Heat Map, the park factor in the Athletics-Red Sox game is second-strongest for hitters out of the nine games being played Thursday. Davidson has a $2,100 salary and our models project him for 10.0 FanDuel points.
