Juan Soto (knee) sidelined Tuesday for Nationals
Washington Nationals outfielder Juan Soto (knee) is not in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against left-hander Max Fried and the Atlanta Braves.
Soto banged his knee on a dugout bench during Monday's game and he is out of the lineup for the first time this season as a result. The 23-year-old outfielder is reportedly to return to the lineup for Wednesday's series finale. Lane Thomas is covering right field on Tuesday while Victor Robles joins the outfield and bats ninth.
numberFire’s models project Thomas for 8.4 FanDuel points on Tuesday, and he has a $2,700 salary. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Nationals have the fourth-lowest implied total (3.62) in the majors on Tuesday.
