Oakland Athletics infielder Matt Davidson is not in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against the Boston Red Sox.
Davidson will move to the bench on Tuesday with Jonah Bride starting at third base. Bride will bat ninth versus right-hander Nick Pivetta and Boston.
