Detroit Tigers designated hitter Miguel Cabrera is not in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against right-hander Dylan Cease and the Chicago White Sox.
The Tigers appear to be giving Cabrera a breather after a rough stretch at the plate. Austin Meadows is at designated hitter while Victor Reyes replaces Cabrera in the lineup to play right field and bat leadoff. Willi Castro is hitting third.
