Cooper Hummel on Diamondbacks' bench Thursday afternoon
Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder Cooper Hummel is not in the starting lineup for Thursday afternoon's series finale against right-hander Tyler Mahle and the Cincinnati Reds.
Hummel started in left field and led off the order against a southpaw on Wednesday, but he's back on the bench for Thursday's finale with the Reds sending a righty to the hill. David Peralta is replacing Hummel in left and hitting fifth. Daulton Varsho is on leadoff duty.
numberFire’s models project Peralta for 11.7 FanDuel points on Thursday, and he has a $2,800 salary. Per our MLB Heat Map, the over/under in the Diamondbacks-Reds game is the largest total (10.0) on the board Thursday.
