New York Yankees designated hitter Alex Rodriguez (oblique) is out again Tuesday.
Rodriguez also sat out Monday after making an early exit Sunday with stiffness in his oblique. An MRI came back negative for a strain, so the hope is that the veteran slugger will be fine in a couple of days. Mark Teixeira is at DH and Dustin Ackley is at first base on Tuesday night against Rangers right-hander A.J. Griffin.
Rodriguez slashed .250/.356/.486 last season with a .361 wOBA and the 17th best Isolated Power at .235. His 151 games played were his most since the 2007 season. He's off to an 8-for-55 (.145) start with two home runs and 19 strikeouts in 15 games this season. Our models currently project A-Rod to post a .355 wOBA with 30 home runs in 620 plate appearances in 2016. Teixeira makes for a solid play on DFS for Tuesday's slate.
