Ian Kinsler (flu) scratched from Tigers' lineup against Oakland
Detroit Tigers second baseman Ian Kinsler was scratched from Monday's lineup against the Oakland Athletics due to flu-like symptoms.
What It Means:
He should be fine in the next day or so. Mike Aviles will start at second base while Jose Iglesias will bat leadoff.
Kinsler has posted a .379 wOBA and .333/.354/.533 slash across 79 appearances at the plate this season. He's also tallied four homers, 12 RBI's and 15 runs.
