Pittsburgh Pirates third baseman Ke'Bryan Hayes is not starting in Friday's contest against the San Diego Padres.
Hayes will take a seat after Rodolfo Castro was shifted to third base and Diego Castillo was started at shortstop.
Per Baseball Savant on 117 batted ball this season, Hayes has accounted for a 7.7% barrel rate and a .381 expected weighted on-base average.
