Tampa Bay Rays outfielder Kevin Kiermaier is not in the starting lineup for Thursday's series opener against left-hander Nestor Cortes and the New York Yankees.
Kiermaier is taking a seat after his hitting streak ended at five games on Wednesday. Manuel Margot is moving to center field in place of Kiermaier and hitting fifth. Vidal Brujan is shifting out to right while Isaac Paredes enters the lineup to play second base and bat sixth.
numberFire’s models project Paredes for 6.0 FanDuel points on Thursday, and he has a $2,200 salary. Per our MLB Heat Map, Cortes has the third-best strikeout rate (32.4%) out of Thursday's 22 listed starters.
