The Toronto Blue Jays and St. Louis Cardinals could become trade partners, FOX Sports' Jon Morosi suspects.
Toronto lost first baseman Chris Colabello to a PED suspension on Friday, and the Cardinals have two first basemen in Matt Adams and Brandon Moss. Adams has struggled this season and had a rough 2015, but he does carry more years of control than Moss. He'd probably do well in a place where he could get starts as a designated hitter.
Adams is currently slashing .242/.286/.394 with one home run in 35 plate appearances. We project him to finish with a .234/.284/.369 slash line, 11 home runs and 50 RBI's.
