Kansas City Royals infielder Emmanuel Rivera has been scratched from the lineup for Tuesday's game against right-hander Zac Gallen and the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Rivera was previously lined up to play third base and bat eighth. Ryan O'Hearn has been added to the lineup to be the No. 7 hitter and Bobby Witt Jr. is on the hot corner for the Royals.
