New York Mets infielder J.D. Davis is not in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against the San Francisco Giants.
Davis will move to the bench on Tuesday with Dominic Smith entering the lineup at designated hitter. Smith will bat eighth versus right-hander Logan Webb and the Giants.
