Robinson Chirinos resting Tuesday for Orioles
Baltimore Orioles catcher Robinson Chirinos is not in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against left-hander Jordan Montgomery and the New York Yankees.
Chirinos is taking a seat after starting the last two games and four of the last five. Adley Rutschman is replacing Chirinos at catcher and hitting sixth. Trey Mancini is moving into the designated hitter role and batting second while Anthony Santander returns to the lineup to start in right field and hit third. Austin Hays is in the cleanup spot for Baltimore.
numberFire’s models project Rutschman for 8.3 FanDuel points on Tuesday, and he has a $2,600 salary. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Orioles have the third-lowest implied total (3.03) in the majors on Tuesday.
