Yankees place Josh Donaldson on COVID-19 IL
The New York Yankees placed third baseman Josh Donaldson on the COVID-19 injured list.
Donaldson is out of the lineup for a second straight game in Monday's series opener against the Baltimore Orioles. Yankees manager Aaron Boone said Donaldson is experiencing symptoms but he hasn't tested positive for the virus. Marwin Gonzalez is starting on third base Monday and hitting ninth versus Orioles right-hander Jordan Lyles.
