Yoan Moncada (leg) scratched from Chicago's Saturday lineup; Leury Garcia enters
Chicago White Sox infielder Yoan Moncada has been removed from the lineup Saturday in the team's game against the New York Yankees.
Moncada is dealing with some leg discomfort. Manager Tony La Russa says the infielder will be available off the bench, but in any case, he won't start. After some defensive reshuffling, Leury Garcia will enter the lineup versus Yankees starter Nestor Cortes Jr.
In 43 plate appearances this season, Moncada has a .200 batting average with a .606 OPS, 2 home runs, 4 runs and 4 RBI.
