Seiya Suzuki sidelined Friday afternoon for Cubs

Chicago Cubs outfielder Seiya Suzuki is not in the starting lineup for Friday afternoon's game against right-hander Humberto Castellanos and the Arizona Diamondbacks.

What It Means:

The Cubs are giving Suzuki a standard breather after six straight starts. Rafael Ortega is sliding over to right field while Christopher Morel moves out to center. Jonathan Villar is returning to the lineup in place of Suzuki to play second base and bat seventh.

numberFire’s models project Villar for 9.6 FanDuel points on Friday, and he has a $2,300 salary. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Cubs have the highest implied total (5.85) in the majors on Friday and the over/under for the game (11.0) is a run higher than any other total.
