Nathaniel Lowe on Rangers' bench Thursday
Texas Rangers first baseman Nathaniel Lowe is not in the starting lineup for Thursday's series opener against left-hander Framber Valdez and the Houston Astros.
Lowe hit a walk-off home run for the Rangers on Wednesday, but he is taking a seat for Thursday's opener. Andy Ibanez is shifting to first base while Charlie Culberson enters the lineup to play third base and bat ninth.
numberFire’s models project Culberson for 7.2 FanDuel points on Thursday, and he has a $2,100 salary. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Rangers have the second-lowest implied total (3.32) in the majors on Thursday.
