J.P. Crawford riding pine for Mariners Thursday night
Seattle Mariners infielder J.P. Crawford is not in the starting lineup for Thursday's series opener against left-hander Rich Hill and the Boston Red Sox.
The Mariners are giving Crawford a maintenance day after he went 1-for-12 with a strikeout in their series against the Toronto Blue Jays. Dylan Moore is replacing Crawford at shortstop and hitting eighth. Julio Rodriguez is moving up three spots to hit third in place of Crawford.
Moore is currently numberFire's top point-per-dollar value among projected hitters on Thursday. He has a $2,000 salary and our models project him for 11.2 FanDuel points. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Mariners-Red Sox game features the most hitter-friendly park factor (1.093) in the majors on Thursday.
