Ketel Marte (hand) back Thursday for Diamondbacks
Arizona Diamondbacks infielder Ketel Marte (hand) is back in the starting lineup for Thursday's series opener against right-hander Marcus Stroman and the Chicago Cubs.
Marte missed the previous two games due to hand soreness. He is starting on second base and batting third Thursday while replacing Jake Hager in the starting lineup. Pavin Smith has moved from third to second in the order and Jordan Luplow has dropped from second to seventh.
