Jordan Luplow joining Arizona bench Wednesday afternoon
Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder Jordan Luplow is not in the starting lineup for Wednesday afternoon's series finale against right-hander Walker Buehler and the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Luplow is moving back to the bench after he went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in the second game of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Dodgers. Pavin Smith is shifting to right field in place of Luplow and hitting third. David Peralta is replacing Luplow in the lineup to play left field and bat fifth.
numberFire’s models project Peralta for 7.7 FanDuel points on Wednesday, and he has a $2,300 salary. Per our MLB Heat Map, the park factor in the Diamondbacks-Dodgers game (0.902) is the third-weakest in the majors for hitters on Wednesday.
