Tampa Bay Rays first baseman Ji-Man Choi is not in the starting lineup for Wednesday afternoon's series finale against left-hander Eduardo Rodriguez and the Detroit Tigers.
The Rays are keeping the lefty-hitting Choi out of the lineup against a southpaw. Yandy Diaz is covering first base while Isaac Paredes enters the lineup to play third base and bat sixth.
