Luke Voit sitting Tuesday for San Diego
San Diego Padres designated hitter Luke Voit is not in the starting lineup for Tuesday's series opener against right-hander Zach Eflin and the Philadelphia Phillies.
Voit is taking a seat after five straight starts. Robinson Cano is shifting into the DH role in place of Voit while Manny Machado returns to the lineup to play third base and bat third.
