Kyle Garlick kept out of Twins' Tuesday lineup
Minnesota Twins outfielder Byron Buxton is not in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against right-hander James Kaprielian and the Oakland Athletics.
Garlick returned from the injured list and started in Monday's series opener, but he's on the bench for Tuesday's matchup. Gary Sanchez is shifting into the designated hitter role in place of Garlick while Ryan Jeffers enters the lineup to play catcher and hit ninth.
numberFire’s models project Sanchez for 9.5 FanDuel points on Tuesday, and he has a $2,800 salary. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Twins have the sixth-lowest implied total (3.60) on the All Day slate.
