Adam Engel idle Tuesday for White Sox in Game 1
Chicago White Sox outfielder Adam Engel is not in the starting lineup against right-hander Jonathan Heasley and the Kansas City Royals in Game 1 of Tuesday's doubleheader.
Engel started in Monday's series opener and went 1-for-4 with a stolen base. It was his fifth swipe of the season. Gavin Sheets is covering right field on Tuesday while Reese McGuire replaces Engel in the lineup to play catcher and hit eighth. Yasmani Grandal is at designated hitter.
numberFire’s models project Sheets for 13.1 FanDuel points on Tuesday, and he has a $2,700 salary. Per our MLB Heat Map, the White Sox have the fifth-highest implied total (4.79) on the All Day slate.
