Marlins' Bryan De La Cruz on bench Friday
Miami Marlins outfielder Bryan De La Cruz is not in the starting lineup for Friday's series opener against right-hander Corbin Burnes and the Milwaukee Brewers.
De La Cruz started in left field in the Marlins' last game. Jorge Soler is shifting to left field and hitting third on Friday while Garrett Cooper starts at designated hitter and bats cleanup. Jesus Aguilar is returning to the lineup in place of De La Cruz to play first base and bat second.
numberFire’s models project Aguilar for 8.6 FanDuel points on Friday, and he has a $2,900 salary. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Marlins have the lowest implied total in the majors on Friday (2.75).
