Brian Anderson (illness) active, starting Friday for Marlins
The Miami Marlins activated infielder Brian Anderson from the COVID-19 injured list on Friday.
Anderson missed a week of action, but he is back in the starting lineup on Friday to play third base and bat seventh versus right-hander Corbin Burnes and the Milwaukee Brewers. The Marlins placed Joey Wendle (hamstring) on the 10-day injured list in a corresponding roster move, so Anderson figures to spend most of his time on the hot corner for at least the next 10 days.
numberFire’s models project Anderson for 7.9 FanDuel points on Friday, and he has a $2,600 salary. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Marlins have the lowest implied total in the majors on Friday (2.75).
