Wil Myers (thumb) activated, starting Tuesday for Padres
San Diego Padres outfielder Wil Myers (thumb) is in the starting lineup on Tuesday against left-hander Wade Miley and the Chicago Cubs.
The Padres activated Myers from the injured list on Tuesday after a two-week absence due to a bruised thumb. He is starting in right field and hitting fifth. Jose Azocar is moving to center field in place of an idle Trent Grisham.
