Miami Marlins outfielder Jorge Soler is not starting in Friday's lineup against the San Diego Padres.
Soler will take a seat after Miami's slugger was kept on the bench against San Diego's right-hander Yu Darvish.
According to Baseball Savant on 64 batted balls this season, Soler has accounted for a 7.8% barrel rate and a .208 expected average.
