Tampa Bay Rays outfielder Brett Phillips is not in the starting lineup for Thursday's game against the Seattle Mariners.
Phillips will move to the bench on Thursday with Kevin Kiermaier starting in center field. Kiermaier will bat ninth versus left-hander Robbie Ray and the Mariners.
