Taylor Jungmann pulled early from Brewers' loss
Milwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Taylor Jungmann was lifted after allowing three runs in four-plus innings Thursday in a loss to the Minnesota Twins.
Jungmann walked six, even issuing the first free pass Byron Buxton has taken this season. Still, his ERA actually came down on the day, tumbling to 8.47. The Brewers don't have anyone to replace him in the rotation right now, but they'll keep their eyes open if anyone becomes available.
Jungmann has really struggled with his control, posting a 12.5 walk percentage to go with a 13.75 strikeout percentage. His 5.15 SIERA isn't good, but it does suggest he's been unlucky to have an ERA of 8.47.
