Nick Castellanos (paternity) back Wednesday for Phillies
Philadelphia Phillies outfielder Nick Castellanos is back in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against left-hander Martin Perez and the Texas Rangers.
Castellanos was expected to be placed on the paternity leave list after he was scratched from Tuesday's lineup, but apparently he will only miss a game. Matt Vierling is shifting to center field in place of Roman Quinn, while Castellanos returns to right and hits second. Alec Bohm is in the leadoff spot after hitting second on Tuesday and Kyle Schwarber is batting sixth.
numberFire’s models project Castellanos for 12.7 FanDuel points on Wednesday, and he has a $3,400 salary. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Phillies have the fifth-highest implied total in the majors (4.42) on Wednesday.
