Phillies' Nick Castellanos scratched Tuesday, paternity list likely
Philadelphia Phillies outfielder Nick Castellanos was scratched from Tuesday's lineup against the Texas Rangers.
Castellanos was scratched because his wife went into labor and he is expected to go on paternity leave. Roman Quinn was added to the Phillies' lineup to play right field in Castellanos' place. Rhys Hoskins is hitting sixth and Jean Segura is batting seventh, which is one spot higher each than they were before the scratch.
numberFire’s models project Quinn for 7.7 FanDuel points on Tuesday, and he has a $2,000 salary. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Phillies have the fifth-highest implied total (4.39) in the majors on Tuesday.
