Christian Yelich on Brewers' bench Thursday afternoon
Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Christian Yelich is not in the starting lineup for Thursday afternoon's series finale against left-hander Jose Quintana and the Pittsburgh Pirates.
What It Means:
The Brewers appear to be giving Yelich a routine breather. Tyrone Taylor is sliding over to left field in place of Yelich and hitting fifth, while Lorenzo Cain is entering the order to cover center field and bat sixth.
