Athletcis' Eric Sogard undergoes knee surgery Wednesday
Oakland Athletics second baseman Eric Sogard underwent left knee surgery on Wednesday.
What It Means:
Sogard, has played in 100-plus games for the A's in each of the last three seasons, is expected to be out for two months after the surgery.
He hasn't had much of an impact from the plate over his career, with a .272 wOBA and .074 ISO.
