Eloy Jimenez (foot) joining White Sox bench Wednesday in Game 1
Chicago White Sox outfielder Eloy Jimenez (foot) is not in the starting lineup on Wednesday for Game 1 of a doubleheader against the Cleveland Guardians.
White Sox manager Tony La Russa said Jimenez is dealing with "a little foot soreness," but it sounds like a minor concern and he might be available off the bench for Game 1. Andrew Vaughn is replacing Jimenez in left field and hitting sixth versus right-hander Shane Bieber and the Guardians. Gavin Sheets is in the cleanup spot and Yasmani Grandal is batting fifth.
numberFire’s models project Vaughn for 8.9 FanDuel points on Wednesday, and he has a $2,200 salary.
