Cincinnati Reds pitcher Reds Robert Stephenson has been recalled from Triple-A Louisville.
Alfredo Simon is dealing with right biceps tendinitis, so Stephenson will start in his place Tuesday against the Rockies. The Reds have high hopes for the 23-year-old in the long-term, but he'll likely just be up for one start.
In 55 innings at Triple-A last season, Stephenson posted a 3.35 FIP with a 21.1 strikeout percentage and ugly 11.2 walk percentage.
