Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder Socrates Brito is starting in center field and batting second during Friday's game versus the San Diego Padres.
He's started four out of the last five games in center field and has batted either first or second in all of those contests. Brito should continue to play regularly against righties.
Brito debuted in the majors last season, slashing .303/.324/.455 over 18 games. He posted a .362 wOBA with 20 stolen bases in 522 plate appearances in Double-A in 2015 before getting the call-up.
